Definitions
- In this agreement, “Thetford Airport Taxi Service,” “we,” or “us” refers to the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
- 2.1 Ensure adequate time allocation for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in times for flights. Thetford Airport Taxi Service is not responsible for delays caused by insufficient time allocation or unavailability at the scheduled collection time.
2.2 It is your responsibility to request a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage. Thetford Airport Taxi Service does not guarantee accommodation of excessive luggage, and a child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made during the booking process.
Prices & Payment
- 3.1 Our quotation is based on the information provided by you. Prices, unless specified otherwise, do not include VAT, and applicable charges will be added. We reserve the right to modify the quote for substantial changes to the itinerary.
3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and airport parking costs. Additional waiting time will be charged at the standard waiting rate.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, carefully review the booking confirmation. Failure to notify Thetford Airport Taxi Service of any discrepancies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
- 4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact caused by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the car.
4.3 Children in the car must be appropriately restrained based on height, weight, and age.
4.4 Compliance with licensing or insurance passenger limits is mandatory.
Cancellations
- 5.1 Notify Thetford Airport Taxi Service as soon as possible if you need to cancel a booking. Cancellation charges apply if done after dispatch, based on the time and distance covered by the driver.
5.2 Online booking cancellations may incur charges if made after dispatch.
Liability
- 6.1 Thetford Airport Taxi Service is not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. No liability exists for losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will provide an alternative car to minimize delays.
6.4 You will not hold Thetford Airport Taxi Service liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by anyone in your party.
6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
- 7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
- 8.1 Thetford Airport Taxi Service may subcontract obligations. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 Terms and conditions may be altered by Thetford Airport Taxi Service, with changes applied to this page. Review terms regularly, and existing bookings will follow rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 Information processing complies with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Thetford Airport Taxi Service and yourself.
8.5 No third party can enforce rights under this agreement without a written agreement.
Disputes
- Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Thetford Airport Taxi Service is not obligated to entertain claims or disputes made after this timeframe.
